FORSBERG CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PROFILE

Forsberg Construction Incorporated, formerly known as T.A. Forsberg Inc. of Florida, has been successfully working in the Southwest Florida area since 1982, on both municipal projects and private developments.

Originating from T.A. Forsberg Incorporated located in Okemos, Michigan, Forsberg Construction was incorporated by the State of Florida in September 1982, following the completion of the Deep Creek Development in Port Charlotte, Florida, a $21 million dollar joint venture with Eisenhour Construction.

During the years to follow, Forsberg Construction would become one of the areas most reputable underground utility and road building contractors while performing more than three hundred million dollars worth of construction.  Fueled by the instilled principle to excel in every way possible to fulfill contract requirements, Forsberg Construction has upgraded and extended public utility systems, widened and constructed rural and urban roadways, and performed site development for golf courses, subdivisions, colleges, churches, and retail shopping centers.

At the present time, the company has the staff and equipment to construct any major roadway, utility system or other infrastructure improvement.  Progressive management has continually updated equipment to remain competitive within the marketplace.  Forsberg Construction's fleet of equipment includes large, small, and mini excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, scrapers, rollers, mixers, dewatering systems, multiple sized trucks and safety equipment.  Additionally, the company is committed to being the best possible employer by offering competitive wages, health care for employees and families, vacations, holidays and a retirement program.

Bruce Wendorf has been President of Forsberg Construction since January 1, 2006.  Richard L. Wendorf was President from March 1990 until December 31, 2005 and became the sole owner of the company in August 1997.  An employee with T.A. Forsberg Inc. since 1957, Mr. Wendorf personifies the experience, commitment, and integrity of the company.  Adopting the principle of close management supervision of all operations, Mr. Wendorf has emphasized the hiring and development of competent, loyal and efficient employees who are consistently exceeding the expectations of the industry.  The concept of completing projects “on time and on budget” is not a cliché, but a way of doing business.  The principles Mr. Wendorf has maintained over the years will continue to guide the company in the future under the leadership of Bruce Wendorf, President, and Gregg Marsh, Vice President.
